Junior Section Flood Relief Effort

Children were individually and collectively mobilized to support the flood relief effort.  The Karachi Relief Trust gave us a list of items which were then brought in by the children and staff.  Our domestic science room was bulging at the seams.  Each child was involved in packing boxes with the necessary items.  This activity involved the children and helped them understand that giving involves not only monetary donations but also one’s time and effort.  Children of the Junior Section expressed their understanding of the plight of the victims through art work, collages and paintings.  Through the flood relief effort we steered the children on the path of feeling and giving, and we hope this leaves a lasting impact.
