Design for Change School Contest

The Junior Section is participating in the Design for Change School Contest.  It was started by Kiran Sethi in India and a number of  countries, including Pakistan, have joined in this year.  The contest is about making our children believe that change is possible and they can BE THE CHANGE.  A four step process - Feel, Imagine, Do, Share - was followed.  The issue was tackled by engaging the entire school community, for a week, in a ‘Greet Everyone Day’, a ‘Litter Free Day’ and a  ‘Self-Control Day’.  Even a rap song has been composed about ‘Respect’.  Every child has learnt this and an all-school rap was conducted during Assembly.
