Students of Class VII had a very productive session titled ‘Colloquy with the Expert’, on Friday 9th October 2015, organised by the World Geography Department at the Middle Section. Experts from various fields included a Lawyer, Environmentalist, Doctor, Teacher and officials from K-Electric, CPLC and Water Board.
Students had been involved in a project, ‘Karachi – Past, Present and Future’ prior to the event. As a continuation of their research, some experts were called to make connections between the present and future of Karachi. Students were anxious to know whether our city will be able to cope with the rising population and asked the experts many interesting questions. Hearing and meeting the experts contributed a new dimension to their learning that was current, practical and relevant.
