Morning Assembly with Dr. Ruth Pfau
16 Jan 2014
It was a crisp January morning when Dr. Ruth Pfau came to speak to our students about her work, her current projects and her challenges as she works with the most disadvantaged and unfortunate in society. The children listened intently as Dr. Pfau spoke of her joy at giving hope to the helpless and her admiration for those who are downtrodden, yet show resilience and struggle to change their fate.
She thanked the Monitors for their donation to the Earhquake victims of Balochistan and the Mary Adelaide Leprosy Centre, and urged the children to reach out to the disadvantaged whose suffering is so often forgotten.
It was an honour to have her amongst us.
