Science Week looked at sustainability and how we could engage our children to view themselves as global citizens. Children collected data on water usage and wastage in their homes and discussed specific ways to make a difference.
Students from the KGS Conservation Society of the College Section gave an interactive presentation to Classes III and IV on the importance of water. Mrs. Khulsoom Omar spoke to Classes V and VI about water wastage and how our everyday actions can change to save water. The week was concluded with a pledge to use one bucket of water for bathing, turning off taps while brushing our teeth and fixing any leaky taps. We hope parents will support the children in making this a reality in their homes.
