Scratch Curators Project

21 May 2018

Scratch is a programming language targeted primarily at children. The students of Class VI worked in pairs to create their Scratch educational projects in which they made stories, quizzes and games by coding with simple blocks. Through this program the children were required to learn to imagine, reason with common sense and work with computers in both online and offline modes.  The curators added interesting animations and speeches to their creations which functioned as a practical tool to express themselves after learning to use the language. The students presented their projects to the fifth graders who not only enjoyed the games and the stories, but were able gain motivation and were encouraged by the enthusiasm of the sixth graders. ICT teachers from all sections were invited to view the session, as were the Director of Studies and the Principal.
