Seerat-un-Nabi 2019

12 Feb 2019

Seerat-un-Nabi is a thought-provoking program organised by the Middle Section every year with great fervor and utmost reverence in order to celebrate the unblemished character of the Last Prophet (P.B.U.H.). In doing so the audience is invited to reflect and evaluate one’s own conduct. The entire school gathered in the front yard on the morning of 30th January 2019 to commemorate the birthday of  the beloved Messenger (P.B.U.H.).

The celebration began with the heart touching recitation of Quranic Verses, followed by ‘Zikr’ of Allah, after which blessings were sent upon the Prophet (P.B.U.H.) through ‘Durood’.

Holy verses of the Quran, precious words of the Prophet (P.B.U.H.), incidents from his life and poetry in his praise were shared. Skits were prepared to display the exemplary traits of the last Messenger, which can be adopted by every individual. The skits were performed by the participating students.

The attributes, determination, honesty, patience, tolerance and optimism of the Prophet (P.B.U.H.), highlighted by the presenting students influenced the audience. The poetic verses of ‘Shikwa Jawab-e- Shikwa’ left a lingering question in the mind of our young learners about the state of the Muslims in today’s world. The program concluded with a poem consisting of an invocation from the Holy Book to God Almighty, leaving the audience to question the purpose of the Holy book as compared to its use in today’s world by its followers.
