In celebration of Book Week, the Junior Section foyer is resplendent- book covers illustrated by both children and their teachers, story boards, characters and illustrations bounce off the walls! The area outside the library also twinkles with fairy lights.
Book week started with a bang on Monday, the 13th of March. The children of Class VI children read poems in Urdu and stories to students of Class IV students. They engaged their audience with interesting props and and dramatic reading.
The Class IIIs kicked off the activities program with readings and recitations. Each section's performance was quite stellar as poems were enacted and charts and facts about their favourite authors were presented by the children.
The week will continue to showcase books as guest speakers and as a finale, Zambeel, will drop by to regale their young audience with their tales and stories.
