The third day of 'Book Week' started off with some Class VI children entertaining the Class IVs with English stories. Again, costumes and props played an important role in these very popular 30 minute sessions.
The AV Room was busy with the Class V activity. Children dressed up as their favourite characters from books such as Shadow and Harry Potter. One of the highlights of the activity was the re-enactment of 'Matilda' as Mrs. Trunchbull and Miss Honey were brought to life in front of a delighted audience.
The day ended on an inspirational note as the prolific author, Kamila Shamsie, winner of the Tamgha-i- Imtiaz, spoke in front of a captivated audience of Class V and VI. She read from stories written by her and her best friend when they were 11 and answered the children's many questions.
