'Go Green Pakistan!' was the theme for an interesting and vibrant Science Week at the Junior Section.
There was a palpable air of excitement morning, 26th of September, with the children eagerly awaiting the beginning of Science Week.
The four year groups participated in diverse and age appropriate multimedia based quizzes, which challenged their knowledge of topics ranging from global warming to pollution and ecology. The Junior Section laboratory was a buzz with activity and enthusiasm, with each child avidly participating, in order to score points for his or her team.
In anticipation of Science Week a survey had been conducted, in which the children investigated the eco-friendly habits of their family and friends. The results of these surveys, after being collated in graphical form, were scrutinized and reviewed by the individual classes. As children proudly displayed their work , the foyer and corridors came alive with ‘Go Green , Pakistan!’
Science Week proved to be a stimulating and enriching experience for both the students and teachers, reinforcing the idea of making Pakistan clean and green!
In the coming week the activities will continue with guest speakers coming to share their knowledge and expertise and inspire the young scientists of the Junior Section!
