The students of class IV-K selected ‘Habits of the Mind’ as their assembly presentation topic. The school as a whole had chosen to focus on practising the skills to inculcate these ‘Habits of Mind’. Eight of these habits had been discussed and practised in the first term. This assembly presentation was a quick re-cap and a reflection of the importance of these habits and the skills students are able to develop as a result of practising these on a daily basis.
Each ‘Habit of the Mind’ was presented in the form of a small skit. Five of these skills were presented in English while three of them were presented in Urdu. Every attempt was made to ensure that each child was given a chance to participate in the presentation. The teachers and parents who attended this event enjoyed listening to this informative presentation.
